Planning & Zoning Commission Advisory Board Application Period Reopens.

(INSERT DATE), 2021 – Kootenai County is reopening applications for the Planning & Zoning Commission Advisory Board. The county received an unusually low amount of candidates during the application period that ended October 15. We are looking for citizens who are interested in serving their community on a volunteer basis. These citizens would represent the broad interests of the public while serving in an advisory capacity to the Board of County Commissioners. The Planning & Zoning Commission offers the public an opportunity to make an impact on local decision-making by providing recommendations directly to the appropriate decision makers. At this time, we are accepting applications until Dec. 15, 2021.
Applicants may be asked to interview with the Board of Commissioners. Selected members will be appointed in January 2022, to a three-year term.
