When Leadership Lacks Transparency: A Look at the KCRCC Ballot Controversy

🚨🚨The Kootenai County Republican Central Committee has quietly put out their "Recommended Republicans ballot" list on their website - not on the home page like in EVERY year prior - but buried under their Resources --> Voter Guide dropdowns. The KCRCC also has not posted their suggested ballot on social media even though they have already had their stuffing party and bags have been deployed to most of their precincts to be distributed. Why the sudden secrecy with the suggested ballot?
I believe I have figured out the reason: the KOOTENAI COUNTY Republican Central Committee has included Legislative District 1 on their recommended ballots.

As you can see from the map below, Legislative District 1 is SOLELY in Bonner and Boundary Counties - it DOES NOT touch Kootenai County whatsoever. 😤

Why is Kootenai County Republican leadership all of a sudden wanting to put their fingers into another counties' politics? How many THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS have gone to printing this suggested ballot and how much of that is going to Bonner County candidates?
➡️This critique in NO WAY touches my thoughts about Scott Herndon, Jane Sauter and Cornel Rasor; I believe they are the best conservative candidates to represent their district so please don't misconstrue that what I'm saying is directed at them.⬅️
Let's not be delusional and think that one county central committee can endorse candidates from OTHER counties. It's right on the state bylaws and as Chair of the State Rules Committee for many years, one would think Brent Regan would know that.
So either Brent is allowing the rules to be broken and hoping no one would notice, or he's willfully ignorant. These are not qualities one wants as the leader of the KCRCC.
This is just the latest example of why I believe KCRCC Leadership needs to change: the untransparent financials, the secret and subversive behavior involving their recommended ballot, the inadequate and...tailored way they are going about rating/vetting, and the gaslighting they're deploying when they are being held accountable.
This is why I have decided it is time to step up and run for Precinct Committeeman of 322; I was perfectly fine with being a cheerleader for them from the sidelines until their own actions like those above made it difficult to follow. I cannot sit by and watch the current KCRCC LeAdErShIp take all the good work that Christian Conservatives have fought for over the past 6 years and flush it down the drain. It is time to bring the KCRCC back to the higher caliber of leadership. ✨
